Digital innovation for rural farming

Description

AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH is a transnational project promoting the uptake of digital and precision farming technologies in rural and less developed areas. The project seeks to: Develop a Precision Farming Knowledge Transfer Ecosystem to support digitalisation, sustainability, and specialisation of agri-food manufacturing SMEs. 2) Enhance digital skills among traditional SMEs in the agricultural machinery sector, particularly in peripheral areas lacking digital competencies. 3) Establish a formal qualification framework for Precision Farming Specialists to provide technical assistance to farmers adopting precision technologies. 4) Implement transnational pilot courses and living labs to facilitate hands-on learning and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange.
