AckerBox is an intermediary with e-commerce platform that allows urban customers to purchase farmer produce and pick up their order in one of the self-service collection points. Alternatively, customers can shop and self-check-out at the collection point. Self-service collection points are unique to the model and are managed from refurbished shipping containers. Products include regional vegetables, preserves, baked goods and milk products.
