Agrila is a modular sensor station that uses Internet of Things and cloud technologies to provide in-field weather and environmental information. The solution supplies farmers with data on soil moisture and air temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall, leaf wetness, and solar radiation. The modular sensor station is easy to install and uses cellular connectivity through an integrated SIM card that covers 179 countries.
Technology
Agrila transmits data via cellular/LTE to a cloud platform offering dashboards and API integration for users to access historical data of their fields and greenhouses. The hardware of the smart sensor is EU-manufactured modular for easy maintenance, and solar-powered that can last up to six weeks of operation without any sunlight.
