Agroplatforma

Unified information system for agricultural operations

Description

Agroappa is an online information system designed to streamline interactions between farmers, suppliers and service providers. Overall, Agroappa integrates several online information and exchanges related to farm accountability; crop and livestock management; business transactions of agri-food inputs and outputs; and access to financing and insurance. Soft loans, crop planning, contracts, insurance and leasing are among the essential services that can be accessed electronically, ensuring transparency and efficiency. The online information system aids farmers in the digital placement of crops and ensures smooth coordination between all those involved. Agroappa also functions as a primary loan disbursement system, featuring a unified register that assigns each land user an electronic passport and a unique identification number. Producer proposals for crop placements for future harvests are displayed and approved on an electronic map. The document flow between agricultural entities and their service providers is fully digitized. Advanced features, such as the real-time tracking of loan settlements and the digital processing of such agreements as futures contracts and insurance policies, are to be incorporated in the future.

  • Big data

Agroappa is an information system that has been designed to function as an online app. Agroappa is integrated with the databases and information systems of commercial banks and companies, and cadastral, tax and justice authorities, and is currently undergoing preliminary tests in the Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions. It makes use of datasets based on geo-information technologies and space images for precise crop mapping. The information system "CropAgro" has been introduced to receive proposals from land users, to support the electronic placement of crops, and to allow coordination and automatic generation of information and reports.
