Casa Miam

E-commerce shop builder for farmers

Description

CASAMIAM is a software that enables independent farmers, artisans and food producers in France to create their own online shops for direct sales and Click & Collect ordering. It serves small producers seeking a simple and cost-effective way to reach local customers while retaining full control over pricing and client relationships. Casamiam addresses barriers faced by producers in setting up e-commerce shop, such as technological complexity, commissions and administration, by offering a low-cost template for e-commerce website.

Technology

  • E-commerce/online marketplace
  • E-payment

Casamiam software allows producers to upload product information (photo, price, unit and availability), set pickup logistics and receive order notifications. Orders are displayed to consumers through the website and an app (available via Google Play and App Store), and producers retain control of payment collection at the point of pickup. The underlying infrastructure combines a catalogue database, user-facing web and mobile interfaces and administrative tools for shop management, all designed to be simple and intuitive for users with limited digital skills.

Target

  • Medium size farms
  • Smallholder farmers

The target customers for Casamiam are farmers who want to establish online sales channels but lack digital skills to create their own e-commerce shop.

Business model

  • Freemium

Casamiam offers a free shop template for cash-based sales. It also offers a paid version for EUR 17 a month for the online shop with integrated payments.

Impact

Casamiam encourages digital participation by smallholder producers by lowering barriers to e-commerce channels adoption. The platform enables producers to anticipate demand, reduce phone coordination and build customer relationships. It also contributes to improved local supply chain visibility by allowing consumers to discover nearby producers and reserve products online. As of January 2026, Casamiam tools have supported over 10 000 online orders.
