City of Ljubuški agro-meteorological station network uses five automated agro-meteorological stations installed in different parts of the municipality to measure air and soil temperature, air humidity, leaf wetness, precipitation, solar radiation and wind parameters at field level. The network transmits these data to the cloud-based AgroLIFE platform, where users can access real-time measurements and localized forecasts, view disease and pest risk models for key crops, and receive recommendations on optimal timing for spraying, irrigation and other agronomic operations via web and mobile applications.

City of Ljubuški agro-meteorological station network operates under a publicly funded model, within the Digitalization of municipal land management project, where the purchase of weather stations, deployment of the AgroLIFE platform and user training are financed through the develoPPP programme implemented by GIZ together with Telegroup and the BFC SEE network, and the network provides free access to users.

City of Ljubuški agro-meteorological station network aims to help farmers optimize field operations, reduce input waste and better manage climate-related risks. The network installed five agro-meteorological stations in the municipality and enabled around 160 residents to open AgroLIFE accounts, including 144 concessionaires on state-owned land and 16 other agricultural producers. Beyond farm-level benefits, it contributes to improving transparency in digital land management processes, modernizing local government services, and supporting regional exchange of experience on digital land management and advisory tools.
