e-Fitouz is an electronic system operated by the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection in Uzbekistan that has been developed for the online control of the import-export procedures related to plants and agricultural products in the country. The system facilitates the online exchange of such documents as the phytosanitary certificates required for the import-exports of Uzbekistan from/to the 122 countries that are signatories to the International Convention on Plant Quarantine and Protection. e-Fitouz further brings full automation to the obtaining of export certificates, the registry of imported products under the country's quarantine regulations, quarantine checks, the registry of restricted seeds and plants, and the registry of authorized importers, with external applications for phytosanitary certificates.
