The State Agency for Hydrometeorology of Tajikistan is supported with upgraded ICT systems for hydrometeorological operations, including rehabilitation and modernization of observation stations and sensors, integration of satellite and remote-sensing data, and GIS-based platforms for data management and spatial analysis. The project also supports centralized data management systems and web- and desktop-based applications for the generation and dissemination of hydrometeorological and climate information, with the objective of improving forecasting and climate information services.
