Description

The Plant Health Information system provided information on a broad variety of pesticides, pests and fertilizers for various crops, including grains, vegetables, fruit and berries in support of agricultural decision-making.

The web-based Plant Health Information System delivered insights in two sections, covering pesticides and fertilizers. The Pesticides section offered information on pests and pesticides categorized by crop type, pest and pesticides. The fertilizer data was organized in three main categories, addressing solid, liquid and biostimulant products.

The Plant Health Information System was publicly accessible and was free to use. The system was developed with the support of Erasmus+.

Impact

The Plant Health Information System is no longer operational. Plant Health Information system sought to support informed decision-making, and promoted sustainable practices by encouraging responsible pesticide use and compliance with regulatory standards.
