Unified register of information systems for Uzbekistan’s electronic government
The Unified Register of Information Systems and Resources is a centralized online app for the documenting and management of the information systems and resources implemented and utilized by government bodies and entities in which the state holds a 50 percent or more share. Mandated by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan with Resolution No. 444 dated 16.07.2020, this system is accessible via a web interface, and serves as a cohesive information space for the efficient coordination of the Project Management Centre (PMC) and project executors. The Register hosts the information systems and resources of ministries, state committees, agencies, departments, local government bodies and business entities with significant state shares. It facilitates the systematic tracking of the information systems, databases and software technologies used by state organizations, providing a level of centralization that aids in the monitoring, development and implementation of projects while preventing the duplication of existing information systems. The key functions hosted by the Unified Register include: 1) The registration and accounting of information systems, databases and software products. 2) Conducting and monitoring application statuses for e-government project documentation. 3) Verification of authenticity in issued notifications and expert conclusions. 4) Supporting the direct interaction and communication of project stakeholders. 5) Facilitating transparent evaluations and post-monitoring of implemented e-government projects.

The Unified Register is a large database that is accessible through an website through which anyone can search for projects, applicants and services held in the Register. The Register is currently integrated with 701 information systems and hosts 46 information resources of 160 government organizations.
