Description
Agribusiness Development Activity was a USAID-funded market development project aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of agribusinesses in Uzbekistan. The project focused on improving market linkages, supporting value-added processing, and enhancing private sector participation across selected agricultural value chains through capacity building, advisory support, and policy engagement.
Technology
Public sources indicate that the project supported the adoption of production, processing and management technologies and practices by agribusinesses and cooperatives.
Target
The primary beneficiaries were private agribusiness firms, agriculture cooperatives and medium- to large-scale farms operating in selected value chains. The project also engaged rural communities through training and capacity-building initiatives.

The activity was financed through donor support provided by USAID and implemented by contracted development partners.
