Crop Maps Ukraine

Satellite-based crop mapping portal for Ukraine

Description

Crop Maps Ukraine is geospatial platform designed to visualize annual crop distribution and agricultural land use across Ukraine using satellite-derived maps. The platform provides interactive layers showing the location and extent of major crops and fallow land for different years and seasons, allowing users to compare crop structures over time.

Technology

  • Website
  • Cloud

Crop Maps Ukraine is implemented as an interactive web mapping platform built on GIS and web map services. Users can zoom and pan across the country, switch between base maps and annual crop maps, and filter information by year, region and crop type. The platform displays field blocks and agricultural land in different colours by crop, and users can click on map units to see attribute information such as crop class and area. Where permitted, users can also view aggregated statistics and download selected geospatial layers for further analysis.
