Digital information system for the management of public agricultural subsidies
Description
GosAgro.kz is a web-based application created by the government of Kazakhstan for the management of information and the delivery of public support to farmers. The app operates as a digital hub of the Unified State Information System for the Subsidy of the Agroindustrial Complex (ЕГИСС) through which farmers can apply for, process and receive subsidies and financial assistance, requiring no extra steps from the farmer. An application listed on the "Waiting List" is considered approved and only awaits the issuance of appropriate funding. The applications of farmers are subsidized through the 355 financial institutions registered on the system.
Technology
Gosagro.kz is a web-based application through which users and public authorities exchange information for the completion of the necessary administrative procedures required to access public subsidies. Users can register their organizations, issue applications, and track their subsidy processes and payments.

The main users of Gosagro.kz are farmers and rural landowners.
Business model
Gosagro.kz is free to use by anyone within a registered oblast with a Kazakh phone number.
Impact
Gosagro.kz increases the efficiency of the administration and delivery of public agricultural subsidies. It has to date processed, approved and partially disbursed applications to the value of KZT 96.5 billion.
