Description
The National Environmental Agency of Georgia provides climate, hydrometeorological and early-warning services supporting national climate-change mitigation and adaptation efforts. The service delivers long-term and real-time weather forecasts, hydrological and meteorological measurements, flood-risk zoning, climate statistics, and warnings for natural hazards including avalanches and heatwaves. The system supports agriculture, water management, infrastructure planning and public safety in alignment with Georgia’s obligations under UNFCCC, Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement.
Technology
