Description

Portal of shared resources and data is a web-based platform operated by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) consolidating various data on the current state of agro-industrial complexes happening in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. While not an agriculture-specific platform,, users can explore agricultural statistics such as the number of people employed in the sector, the production land area, import and export prices, number of agricultural products cultivated in the region, customs tariffs, technical regulations, product classifications, foreign trade statistics, and macroeconomic indicators. The platform provides a map of projects under implementation with accompanying amount of investment in sectors such as animal husbandry, plant growing, recycling, and market development.

The web-based platform offers thematic browsing of data, particularly statistics on agricultural production, trade, and regulations in each Member States and the whole region of the Eurasian Economic Union. Within each dashboard, users can filter the data on country or regional level and the agri-food sectors visitors want to examine further. Additionally, the platform also compiles common regulatory documents such as various measures on sustainable development of milk and dairy products, and approaches in grading farm animals, among other. Furthermore, the platform features a map where users can explore the on-going research and development in the region. Visitors can use filters such as country of interest, project status, industry and investment value for transparent reporting of agricultural development. The platform also allows users to download data in XLS or PDF the historical trend in agricultural prices, development indicators of agro-industrial complexes, and on-going investments and projects in the region, among others.

The data presented on the portal is fully free and accessible to all. Various partners are co-managing the data on the platform, primarily funded by the member states of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
