FieldX Scouting is a software solution that enables agronomists and growers to capture georeferenced field observations, manage crop and input records, and share PDF scouting and recommendation reports for in‑season decision‑making across farms and fields.

FieldX is a cloud-based digital agriculture platform accessible through desktop and mobile applications. The solution integrates GPS- and GIS-enabled field mapping, data collection and visualization tools to support crop scouting, soil sampling and agronomic recordkeeping. FieldX also supports variable-rate technology workflows by enabling the creation and management of variable-rate application prescriptions, which can be exported for use in compatible precision agriculture equipment.

The solution is offered as subscription software with customer accounts linked to the cloud platform. Mobile apps require an active account and a free trial is available for new users. As per January 2026, annual pricing includes technician licenses at USD 275 per user (linked to an essential or agronomist account), essential subscriptions at USD 600 per user, and agronomist subscriptions at USD 900 per user. Grower sub-accounts and advanced modules, including variable-rate technology and enhanced weather services, are available on a quote or add-on basis.

Impact

According to platform-reported figures as of January 2026, the solution has been used in agricultural software services for more than 25 years, manages field records covering over 20 million acres annually, and has facilitated the creation of more than 30 million agronomic journal entries. The platform is applied across more than 50 crop types, supporting data-informed decision-making, improved documentation of crop activities, and more efficient farm management practices.
