Description
ROBOTTI 150D is an autonomous diesel-powered field robot for medium to large farms. It performs precision tasks such as seeding, weeding, spraying and soil preparation with minimal supervision, helping address labour shortages and improve operational efficiency. The robot is compatible with standard farm implements and can power attached equipment, allowing it to support a wide range of crop management applications.
Technology
The ROBOTTI 150D is powered by two Kubota diesel engines (144 hp combined) and guided by dual-antenna RTK-GNSS for ± 2 cm navigation accuracy. It operates for up to 18 hours on a single fuel cycle and features zero-turn steering to minimize soil compaction. Safety systems include LiDAR scanners, pressure-sensitive bumpers, emergency stop buttons, and virtual GPS fencing. Operational planning, supervision, and documentation are handled through the cloud-connected ROBOTTI web interface, which enables route creation, live monitoring, real-time job completion estimates, and automatic SMS alerts for operational updates or interruptions.
Target
ROBOTTI 150D primarily serves medium to large-scale farms that require autonomous execution of labor-intensive tasks. It is designed for farms growing row crops and high-value vegetables like onions, lettuce, cabbage, and beets, where precision, repeatability, and soil preservation are priorities.
Business model
ROBOTTI is sold commercially at a one-time purchase price around EUR 180 000. Sales are facilitated through distributors such as Kubota Europe, with service support integrated into the deal. While hardware, software, and remote monitoring are bundled, public sources do not detail ongoing subscription or fee-for-service models.
Impact
ROBOTTI 150D aims to increase farm productivity and reduce reliance on manual labour through continuous, autonomous field operations. Its low-ground-pressure chassis limits soil compaction, while timely seeding, spraying and weeding support improved yields, sustainable land use and lower costs.
