Agromilk-D21
Remote controller for milk storage
Description
Agromilk-D21 is a device that allows users to remotely monitor and control temperature parameters in milk tanks in real time, supporting the maintenance of safety and quality standards in milk production.
Technology
Agromilk-D21 monitors the temperature of milk through sensors installed in milk tanks that typically transmit the data to Cloud- or web-based software. The data are then analysed and presented to a user interface, usually a mobile device or PC desktop, in an actionable format.
Target
Agromilk-D21 can be used by milk producers and processor companies to monitor the temperature in their milk tanks.
Business model
Agrodidaem Technology received MKD 1579 million (equivalent to USD 27 500) from the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development (FITR) under the “Challenge for Digitization of Agriculture” project, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy (MAFWE) and the Programme to Increase Market Employability (NAME) in North Macedonia in 2021. The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The cost of the controller is yet to be announced.
Impact
Agromilk-D21 controls the temperature of freshly collected milk during storage and processing, reducing potential bacterial growth and toxin formation risks. It assists farmers and producers in ensuring the quality and safety of milk and its products, minimizing financial losses and ensuring the delivery of top-quality products to the customers.
