Description

The Geosys platform is a cloud-based platform that provides the critical capabilities such as data or API needed throughout the analytic process of data-driven farm decisions. The modules available in this cloud-based platform include from data connectivity to the data preparation and enrichment needed to create analytics-ready data, to advanced analytics and modelling, to flexible delivery options that provide reporting, visualization, and collaboration. Current API includes field vegetation index maps to measure vegetation time series and growth measured daily. These indexes are NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), EVI (Enhanced Vegetation Index), CVI (Chlorophyll Vegetation Index), GNDVI (Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), LAI (Leaf Area Index) and more if needed. Furthermore, the platform offers field agronomy maps such as yield variability and yield goal map, organic matter map, satellite derived management zones, elevation and slopes map, nitrogen application maps (for wheat, barley, canola and more). Another API offered by geosys platform concerns weather data. These collect and display multi-model datasets covering historical, current weather and forecasts, several aggregation levels: admin unit, small ag region and location based agronomic parameters like temp min, max, average, rainfall, wind speed, humidity, snow depth, atmospheric pressure, soil moisture, temperature and precipitation (Daily). Finally, the platform is equipped with API for notifications and warnings to get information as soon as available on the Geosys platform and focus on key information or anomalies. Among these, users can receive new satellite image notification, difference map with anomaly detection, fields benchmarking and status change. Overall, geosys addresses challenges in agriculture, enhancing resilience by delivering analytics that reduce everyday risks, making it a transformative solution for precision farming.

Secondary or supplemental data is collected by Landsat, Sentinel Weather, Radar, Drone, Statistics, and Specialty Data. Its analytics encompass agro-environmental indexes like the NDVI, EVI, LAI, Change Detection, Yield Trend Benchmarking, Productivity Risk Score Map, Planting Validation, Crop Identification, Vegetation vigor comparison to average, Soil moisture comparison to average, Snow depth in relation to winter kill risk, and more. Employing Big Data principles, the platform processes extensive datasets to generate normalized Analytics Ready Data. Machine learning interprets these datasets, improving analysis and pattern identification. The platform has the capability to integrate data from third-party sources.
