Description

Farmy is an e-marketplace offering a huge selection of hand-picked products and groceries from hundreds of local producers. Farmy's logistics model aims to avoid the need for the interim storage of fresh produce and to cut down on food waste by delivering orders directly to the customer's doorstep. A large variety of products are offered, including fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat and pantry items, most of which are organic and are supplied with comprehensive information about the producer and product. The platform caters to various dietary needs, with lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Delivery costs and times are calculated on the website.

A CHF 5 deposit is held to cover the Swiss Post pickup service if used.

Farmy supplies households throughout Switzerland with high-quality and sustainably sourced products for organic, regular and complete weekly shopping. percent of the products are sourced from within an 80 km radius of the hubs in Zurich and Lausanne, with a unique logistics concept that removes the need for intermediate storage, meaning that food is 3–4 days fresher than in the supermarket.
