Farm productivity solution for SME farmers to manage their livestock and boost the production of milk
Description
Hoviv is a farm productivity solution that provides insights by analyzing livestock movement and offering visibility into the farm's reproduction health and supports financial tracking and feeding management, while enabling farmers to monitor the location and grazing patterns of individual cows for more efficient and sustainable operations.
Technology
The solution uses GPS sensors tracking the behavior and location of the livestock and producing the analysis available through the mobile and web-based applications. The solution is presently in the initial stage and is piloted in two farms in Lori marz. The current functionality includes livestock location and behavior monitoring, milk production tracking, insemination alerts, ovulation tracking, breeding tracking and prediction, as well as vaccination notifications for the newborn cubs. In the later phases the solution will include GEO fencing, ML based algorithms for livestock movement analysis, as well as CO2 analysis reports.
Target
Hoviv solution is targeting small and medium farms with 20-100 livestock in average. As of September 2025, the solution was tested on two farmers in Lori marz, with 64 and 8 livestock respectively with 3 GPS sensors installed.
Business model
The business model for Hoviv is structured around subscription-based packages, which vary according to the range of features offered and the number of livestock managed on the farm.
