Impact

The solution is designed to enhance efficiency in agricultural tasks such as spraying, dusting, and crop protection. According to the company, while operational costs are comparable to traditional machinery, aerial spraying methods help reduce the risk of soil and crop damage. SkyAgro has trained 12 agro-pilots, drone operators, and agronomists, contributing to capacity-building and the advancement of smart agriculture practices in Armenia. The company reports that its operations have led to a reduction in chemical usage by 25–50%, an estimated decrease of 350 tons in carbon emissions, and the conservation of approximately 3,000 tons of water. Looking ahead, SkyAgro aims to support small and medium-sized farmers in forming collaborative communities focused on cultivating organic and high-value crops.
