Description
Stat-urmon.uz is an online app supporting forestry management accounting in Uzbekistan, and has been designed to enhance the collection, organization and management of internal reports within the forestry sector.
Technology
This online application can be accessed internally by the appropriate authorities, forestry owners and operators after registering and inputting login credentials.
Target
The main users are the public sector, in particular, the Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Natural Resources. The app can also be accessed by forestry owners and operators for the registration of their parcels and forestry operations.
Business model
The development and design of the online app, which is free to use, was supported by the national government of Uzbekistan.
Impact
According to egov.uz (2021), the adoption of the stat-urmon.uz system will bring savings to the annual budget of UZS 400 million in reducing paper expenses and the cancellation of business trips of responsible specialists during reporting periods.
