Agrarian Information System (AGIS)

Web-app for EU agricultural paying agencies

DescriptionOverview of the initiative and its approach.

AGIS is a comprehensive agrarian information system supporting the management of EU agricultural funds, including the Rural Development Program (RDP), Common Market Organization (CMO) and national agricultural subsidies. The platform serves as a paying agency, where the European Commission sends their payment to deliver financial support to beneficiaries. Additionally, the system enables paying agencies to administer applications, evaluate projects, conduct on-the-spot checks, manage irregularities, process payments, conduct risk analysis and produce monitoring and financial reports in line with EU regulations.
