Carbonfuture offers a digital trust infrastructure for durable carbon removal, connecting carbon removal suppliers, certifiers, and buyers through transparent monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) platform. The digital trust infrastructure includes tools and services that help suppliers bring projects to market and enable buyers to invest in carbon removal. The infrastructure ensures the integrity of carbon removal and enables it to scale. The platform operates as an integrated workflow connecting suppliers, certification bodies, and buyers. Carbon removal suppliers are onboarded through dedicated supplier services and undergo due diligence to assess project quality and readiness. Once approved, project data is continuously collected and processed through Carbonfuture’s digital MRV system, enabling real-time tracking and traceability of carbon removal activities. The platform then facilitates third-party verification and certification by accredited bodies, ensuring compliance with recognized standards. Verified carbon removal credits are issued and made available on Carbonfuture’s marketplace, where corporate buyers can access high-quality, traceable credits to meet their climate commitments.

Spanning across five continents, Carbonfuture offers carbon removal technologies such as the Biochar Carbon Removal (BCR), Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECS) to Direct Air Carbon Capture and Storage (DACCS) and Mineralization. BCR is a carbon removal pathway in which biomass is converted into a stable biochar through pyrolysis. BECCS, on the one hand, captures the absorbed carbon dioxide by biomass during energy production processes and permanent storage. Lastly, DACCS captures carbon dioxide directly from ambient air using engineered systems. These three technologies serve as Carbonfuture’s main removal pathways that are integrated into their platform where implementation, monitoring, and verification happen. Carbonfuture offers a separate dashbaord for buyers and suppliers. Through the platform dashboard, suppliers can manage project operations, track carbon removal activities across the value chain, automate data collection and standardized reporting through the digital MRV system. They can also undergo due diligence and certification processes, while accessing the marketplace to sell verified carbon removal credits and receive support in project development and commercialization. Meanwhile, buyers can explore verified carbon removal projects, access audit-ready data, and build tailored portfolios based on technology, geography, and sustainability priorities. They can also purchase and manage carbon removal credits, track transactions and retirements, and rely on transparent certification and verification data to reduce risk and support net-zero commitments.
