Description
eAgronom Farm Management Software (FMS) is a web-based desktop application that aids farmers to plan their crops and crop rotations, organize field data, analyze operating expenses, resources and yields, as well as participate in carbon programme. Unique to FMS is an organized summary of sustainable agriculture practices being implemented on the farm.
Technology
eAgronom FMS is accessible as a mobile or web-based desktop application. The tool organizes information on fields, crops, tasks, machines, inventories, and harvest with built-in functions such as performing data analysis and overlaying of satellite-derived Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) maps over the farm’s property. Through FMP, farmers can schedule spraying activities, create budget plans, organize data based on crops and the percentage each crop represents in the total land area, show weather forecasts and schedule and monitor farm tasks. The app’s dashboard functions as a visual presentation of the farm’s crop emission based on fertilizer, fuel and electricity use, and the crop protection strategies implemented on the farm. These pieces of information are essential in verifying the farm’s emission which can help them qualify for eAgronom’s Carbon Program, a carbon credit scheme. Lastly, FMS can also assist in the generation of farm reports and government reporting.
Target
The main beneficiaries of the solution are medium size to large farm owners. The application has over 10 000 downloads on the Android app marketplace.
Business model
The initiative was funded by the European Union under the NextGenerationEu programme and the Entrepreneurs Support Program for Applied Research and Product Development with financial support from the Republic of Estonia. In partnership with SWEDBANK, clients can access the limited version of eAgronom’s FMP for a yearly price of 0.5 EUR per hectare with a minimum of 250 EUR. This subscription grants farmers a consultation once a year to align with sustainable farming principles. Users can also enjoy a 14-day trial of the eAgronom FMS where clients can upgrade to Standard with one user under one company and Premium subscription available for five users and five companies. The prices are not displayed on eAgronom’s website.

eAgronom is with the aim to perform day-to-day farm management, data-driven automations, and simplified reporting, operations that are all handled by simple and easy-to-navigate application for farmers.
