PIX4Dfields

Aerial crop analysis based on satellite and drone imagery

Description

PIX4Dfields is a hybrid drone and satellite mapping software designed for precision agriculture. The platform enables farmers and agronomists to rapidly generate crop health maps, variable rate and spot spraying prescriptions, and field reports. The solution supports applications such as crop scouting, biomass and vegetation index mapping, damage assessment, and trial plot management.

Technology

  • Big data
  • Cloud
  • Desktop/web-based application
  • Drone
  • GIS
  • GPS
  • Remote sensing

PIX4Dfields runs on Windows and macOS, can work offline, and supports imagery from a wide range of drone platforms. The system processes drone and satellite imagery into orthomosaics, vegetation index maps such as NDVI, NDRE, zonation, and digital surface models. Outputs in standard formats: GeoTIFF, shapefile, PDF, ISOXML ensuring compatibility with agricultural machinery and farm management systems. Integration is available with John Deere Operations Center, xarvio™, Trimble Ag, Topcon. The software can be accessed in multiple languages: English, German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, French, Italian, Czech, Hungarian and Russian.
