Produce & Provide directory operates through a web-based platform accessible via desktop and mobile browsers. The user-facing interface provides an interactive map and searchable directory that allows consumers to discover nearby farms, producers and points of direct sale using location and category filters, e.g. type of products offered. On the backend, a central database stores producer profiles, geographic coordinates and descriptive information, which are maintained by platform administrators and participating producers through a content management system.

The directory is free to use for consumers who browse the farms. Farmers need to pay to list their farm on the directory a monthly fee (3.99 GBP).
