Rural Infrastructure Development Project – Resettlement Policy Framework is a policy document to be applied during implementation of rural infrastructure subprojects in Uzbekistan, ensuring fair land acquisition, entitlement, valuation and community consultation in support of rural development. Framework establishes processes for involuntary resettlement aligned to World Bank OP 4.12 and national laws.

Rural Infrastructure Development Project – Resettlement Policy Framework is to be applied by central and local government units (including Mahalla committees) and by rural households and land users affected by land acquisition and infrastructure subprojects.
