Technology
Scope 3 Solutions operates a cloud-based web and mobile platform. Farmers record practice adoption and management data; companies access dashboards and standardized exports for disclosure. MRV workflows combine farm submissions with geospatial inputs and remote-sensing-supported checks to evidence outcomes. The system supports notifications, document management and data pipelines used for insetting claims and performance reporting.
Target
Scope 3 Solutions is designed for private-sector companies (e.g. food brands, processors, retailers) to develop, fund and monitor regenerative agriculture projects across their supply chains. Farmers participate through these company programs and may receive guidance and practice-based incentives via Klim’s farmer tools, but they are not the direct users of this service. The platform focuses on program design, MRV workflows and dashboards to support Scope-3 objectives.
Business model
Scope 3 Solutions follows a fee-for-service model with companies funding in setting projects and related MRV/reporting services. Farmers participating in eligible projects receive practice-based incentives, often defined per hectare within partner programs.
