Skysens APM

Predictive monitoring with IoT and AI connections for industrial data

Description

The Skysens Agile Predictive Monitoring app (APM) is an industrial digitalisation app that makes use of edge deployable analytics, IoT capabilities and optional long-range wireless network technologies to improve industrial efficiency at all user levels, with applications in plant protection and agri-food supply chains. APM is based on software and hardware providing wireless communication for the connection of machines to the Internet. Skysens uses LPWA technologies to overcome the connectivity issues related to GSM-based or low-distance solutions. The monitoring app has a drag-and-drop interface, and users can design their own dashboards and view analytical data on any screen, even in night mode. APM offers smart reporting features, and can be used to send automatic and on-demand reports based on different data parameters. Users receive real-time notifications via SMS, email or voice calls. No coding is needed to set up analytics, making it accessible to all. Rules can be created, teams can be managed and data can be shared through customizations to the dashboard, while asset management tools allow users to monitor both physical and virtual assets, with a visualization option available for certain assets. The app also supports the creation of digital twins for efficient system monitoring.

Skysens APM is available as a desktop application and mobile app for iOS devices. Skysens is integrated with the comprehensive essen2q1tial IoT hardware framework for its integrated services, and includes industrial LoRaWAN edge devices, gateways, remote terminal units (RTU) and such specialized tools as energy analysers. More than 30 edge hardware units are ready for deployment, each bolstered by remote support, and both the wired and wireless components comply with premier security standards, offering end-to-end encryption. The diverse connectivity options include LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, 4G-5G, Satellite and Ethernet, and can be tailored according to needs in terms of budget, latency and existing infrastructure. The plug-and-play nature of the Skysens APM app supports the integration of a pre-set edge device catalogue. The SkyIND Edge device, crafted by Skysens, is a versatile industrial LoRaWAN solution that integrates with multiple data sources. Skysens' LoRaWAN edge devices boast long-range capabilities and the potential to last for up to ten years, allowing for remote updates and adjustments. The app has extensive data collection capabilities, making use of such industrial data adapters as OPC, MODBUS, the MQTT and REST APIs, and Webhooks, while the optional long-range industrial wireless technology comes with an extensive portfolio of devices.
