Expert community for agricultural and technological development

The Smart Faming Club is a Russian-based expert community with members of over 225 agricultural enterprise and farms as of May 2025. SFC aims to promote and transform the agribusiness industry through technological progress and developments. The members receive benefits such as unique educational models, radio broadcasts, and coverage of the club’s activities on social networks, among others. The club follows thematic formal and informal events, both offline and online. Club meetings feature intellectual agendas with distinguished speakers addressing the current topics and issues on the technological and innovative development of farm enterprises. Additionally, thematic workshops on the development of modern soft skills that are important for managing technological transformation are also part of the development the members can benefit from.

The activities of the SFC members are supported by a mobile application serving as a social network for communication, meetings, exchange experiences, and creation of a knowledge base. SFC members can also access live broadcasts on Mediametrics radio station and personalized services such as loyalty system, knowledge base, and live chats.

The main target users and members of SFC are farm owners, agricultural enterprises, chief engineers, directors of innovation, plant production directors, IT and digitalization directors, and development directors across the agro-industry. The club’s membership has grown from 50 in February 2021 to over 225 by May 2025. More than 2.9 million hectares of land and over USD 7.7 billion of annual revenue are accounted for by the SFC members as of May 2025.

SFC’s mission is to promote the agribusiness industry by leveraging technological progress and developments. In the future, SFC is envisioned to engage in the development of standards and regulations in the field of digitization and automization, and the preparation of proposals for the design and regulation of legal frameworks in the agriculture sector. Another promising trajectory of the club is the analytical and research activities concerning digitization issues. Such involvements position SFC as a consulting body in specific technical solutions as well as projects involving large-scale implementation of information technology in agricultural production.
