Technology
The State Portal of Electronic Services can be accessed via a user-friendly web interface or a mobile app available for both Android and iOS. As of September 2024, the portal offers 164 services. Built on the X-Road data exchange layer, Tunduk ensures secure data interoperability with over 180 state bodies, local governments, and commercial organizations. The system supports electronic documentation, allowing users to submit forms and applications digitally, with legal validity ensured through digital signatures and timestamps.
Target
The primary users of the State Portal of Electronic Services are citizens, businesses, and public officials who need access to government and municipal services.
Business model
The State Portal of Electronic Services is primarily funded by government budgets, which cover development, maintenance, and operational costs. While access to the portal itself is often free, certain services may involve fees.
Impact
The State Portal of Electronic Services has a significant impact. By digitizing and automating service delivery, the portal streamlines administrative workflows, reducing the need for physical paperwork and in-person visits. It enhances accessibility for individuals in remote areas, provided there is reliable internet connectivity. The portal also allows real-time tracking of requests and provides detailed status updates, thereby improving transparency and fostering greater accountability in government operations. Personal data protection is upheld through secure data exchanges and robust authentication mechanisms, including the Unified Identification System.
